Our Story

Brand Story:

Local Sportsman was founded in Miami, Florida in 2024 by two lifelong South Florida sportsmen — Yovahnn and Raul — with 30+ years of fishing and hunting experience between them. After decades of wearing everything the industry had to offer, they kept arriving at the same frustration: with so many brands and so many names, nobody had made it their mission to give sportsmen and women something genuinely better. Cleaner fabrics. Healthier performance. Materials worthy of the environments they fish and hunt in.

So they stopped waiting.

Local Sportsman was built on two commitments: 

1. Tell the real stories of sportsmen and women and what drives their passion
2. Give those sportsmen something cleaner and healthier to wear on every adventure; and put them — not the logo, not the brand — at the forefront of everything we do.

 

This isn’t a brand built in a boardroom. It was founded fishing offshore, in the Florida pines, and in 30 years of shared experiences that only a Local Sportsman can understand.
